A small hand-piece will be used that touches the skin of the desired area of treatment to deliver the laser light.  A light spray of coolant onto the skin will be felt just before each laser pulse.  The treatments are quick and little discomfort is experienced because of the dynamic cooling device.  The procedure can take as little as 2 minutes to 30 minutes depending on the area treated.  The treated area many become slightly pink after the treatment. This pinkness generally resolves itself as little as 30 minutes to 2 days of the treatment depending on the sensitivity of your skin and the intensity of the treatment.  Immediately after the treatment, cold compresses are applied to the area followed by Aloe Vera gel.   It is recommended to avoid sun exposure throughout the duration of your treatments.
